Easy Homemade Granola

I started making homemade yogurt last winter, after I bought an Instant Pot. You’ll be hearing a lot more about that little workhorse of an appliance, and I’ll be sharing Instant Pot recipes, but not today. (See how Mama entices you to keep stopping by?) Today, I am sharing my recipe for the stuff that goes on top of the homemade yogurt: homemade granola.

They are perfect companions.

I couldn’t find a recipe that suited me just the way it was, so I started with a couple of basic ones and experimented. I ended up with the recipe that follows. My husband says it’s the best thing he ever tasted, but he says that pretty often. He likes Mama’s cooking.

By the way, my kitchen is mostly gluten-free, although I’m not allergic to wheat. I just feel much better when I don’t eat gluten. I don’t have celiac disease, so I don’t stress about whether my oats are certified gluten-free.

I wasn’t thinking about blogging when I made the granola, so there is not a photo of the ingredients or a step-by-step. It’s so simple that you won’t need them. There are just a few ingredients and three basic steps.
